From November 2021, the Infoxchange Service Record System (SRS) will no longer support the Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser. This follows the decision by Microsoft to end support for Internet Explorer from August 2021 in all Microsoft applications and online services like Office 365, OneDrive, Outlook, etc.
Ending support for Internet Explorer will allow us to continue supporting and enhancing SRS without the limitations imposed by the older technologies used by Internet Explorer. We will soon begin displaying a message to Internet Explorer users when they access SRS to advise them that support for Internet Explorer will cease in November.
From November, you will still be able to access SRS via Internet Explorer but you may have a degraded experience, including potential unavailability of features, or some features not working as expected. Also from November, the Infoxchange Application Support team and SHIP helpline will no longer be able to investigate issues reported when using Internet Explorer. They will instead recommend using a recent version of a supported web browser.
If you currently access SRS via Internet Explorer, we encourage you to consider switching to a supported browser, such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge or Apple Safari. Further details on the basic PC specifications supported by SRS are listed here: https://infoxchangehelp.net.au/client-pc-specification/
Please ensure your IT department is aware of the need to transition staff to a supported browser and the minimum PC specifications.
