January 5 – SRS/SHIP Update

A software update was released to selected SRS environments

Please note, some of the features outlines in these notes depend on configuration options. If you identify a feature from these notes that interests you, but is not currently available in your configuration, please contact Infoxchange

The release includes the following new features:

Telstra EPOD

The Telstra EPOD integration was updated to include new authentication methods required by Telstra.

User Management module (new)

  • The following enhancements have been made to the new user management module, with more currently being worked on for inclusion in future SRS releases early in 2021. This module has not yet been deployed to all sites. It is expected that the new module will be deployed to all sites early in 2021. Further communications regarding this update will be made closer to this date; this will include enabling the functionality in available User Acceptance Test (UAT) sites to provide a preview.
    1. Increase pagination limit on the list of users from 20 to 50. In most cases coordinators/administrators will be able to find and select a user without needing to click through the paginated pages.
    2. Increase pagination limit on the list of workgroup membership for a user from 20 to 50. In most cases coordinators/administrators will be able to find and select a workgroup membership without needing to click through the paginated pages.
    3. Default sort order for the list of users has been updated so the list now sorts alphabetically, based on the User Name.
    4. When an administrator or coordinator updates user membership, they are required to record the reason for making the change. Previously, they were not permitted to record the same reason as per the previous comment. The user is now able to record the same comment as previously recorded.
    5. Currently if a user edits an existing membership record, the Comments/Reason section is pre-populated with the previous comment. This has been updated so that the comments/reason field is now blank.
    6. Currently a message displays to the user when they login after expiry date, and during the ‘grace’ period. The message states: “The review date on your account has passed. Once the grace period has elapsed you will no longer be able to login.” The message has been updated so that they are now given a specific date when they will no longer have access.

Azure Single Sign On / Out

  • Some organisations access SRS via Azure Single Sign On. Currently, if they log out of SRS they will be logged out of all Azure authenticated applications (Single Sign Out). It is now possible to configure SRS to disable Single Sign Out.

NDIS / FFS Service Agreement

  • A new configuration added to turn on/off the self-managed checkbox in the service agreement form (on by default).
  • The self-managed checkbox will be made read-only when a service (planned or delivered) has been created against the service agreement item (SAI).

Outcome Chart

  • Added a help icon to the Outcomes chart linked to a standard help page.

Enquiries

  • New configuration created to enable ability to “Notify” only selected worker in the Enquiry Form.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue with the display of Note objects in view only mode (e.g. after the record is saved as final or if the record is viewed by another workgroup in the same cluster). Some free text fields were not correctly displaying carriage returns (new lines). This has been fixed.
  • Fixed a bug with the standard SRS Accommodation Report. The report has a table displaying breakdown of accommodation types (contact types) by Total Distinct Stays and Total Number of Bed Nights at the top. The report will also display additional tables if there are additional configured fields for the accommodation note. In the top table, all accommodation notes are included that overlap with the reporting period. However, in the subsequent tables in relation to the configured fields, data is only included if the startdate of the accommodation is in the reporting period. The report has been fixed so that all tables in the report apply the date filter in the same way, i.e. the value will be counted if the accommodation period overlaps the report period.
  • When exporting client data (Persons > Details > Export Details) and ‘Include worker name details’ is set to NO, the workers name is removed from all sections of export except in the SHS Support Period and the SHS Status Update, where it remains in full. The export has been updated to correctly redact the workers name from these sections.
  • When accessing Custom Query normal users were unable to select workgroup collections. (Workgroup collections are a mechanism for grouping multiple workgroups together for the purpose of reporting). The function has been updated so that normal users can access collections. However, the user must have normal or coordinator access for each workgroup in the collection for the user to view the collection.
  • Fixed a validation error which was occurring on the SHS Extract when the Main Language spoken at home was set to ‘Arrernte, Nec’.

This release also includes a number of other minor enhancements and bug fixes.
