2nd October – SRS/SHIP and CIMS Update

A software update was released to selected SRS/SHIP and CIMS environments

Please note, some of the features outlines in these notes depend on configuration options. If you identify a feature from these notes that interests you, but is not currently available in your configuration, please contact Infoxchange

The release includes the following new features:

Person Restrictions
A number of changes and extensions have been made to the Person Restrictions feature. This
feature allows organisations to control who can access selected client records. The feature can
be set up in two ways:

  1. Identifying individual workers and restricting from viewing a nominated client record
    (existing functionality)
  2. Identifying a client record as ‘secure’ – and prohibiting all normal workers from viewing
the client record. Only coordinators can view the record.*

In both cases permissions cascade to all related persons. In both cases a user with Coordinator
level access can view the record. *Functionality will be implemented in a future release which will
allow a coordinator to nominate normal users who are permitted to view the client record.
The way this feature currently operates has been modified to ensure that permissions are
uniformly applied across all workgroups in a cluster.
The two modes of operation are mutually exclusive. It is not possible to set up both mechanisms
for the one workgroup/cluster.
There are known limitations with the Person Restrictions feature, including the need to disable
some reporting functions. If an organisation wishes to implement this feature they should contact
Infoxchange.

Enhancements and Bug Fixes

Person Details

  • Fixed a bug which caused the Export Client Details to PDF feature to fail in some
circumstances when a client photo was included on the client file.
  • Gender mapping has been updated so that if the gender field is defined in the client
form configuration (and not the sex field), if a gender apart from ‘male’, ‘female’ or
‘unknown’ is defined it will be mapped to the option of ‘Other’ for the purpose of the
person search tool. (If both the sex and gender fields are defined the person search
uses the sex field in the search filter).

Associations/Profiles

  • Associated Records grid displayed in the Associations list now sorts the notes /
associated nested profiles based on notedate or profile start date as appropriate
instead of record created date desc.
  • A number of minor fixes were made to the operation of profile objects which effected
    some recent configurations.

VADC Data Collection

  • Validation now added to the last use date of all the drugs recorded for each Treatment
and Assessment rather than just the last use date for the Primary drug of concern.

Fee for Service

  • Service Agreement Model Cost (cost projections) – projected costs past the end date of
the service agreement item are no longer included in the display.

Other Minor Enhancements and Bug Fixes

  • This release also includes a number of other minor enhancements and bug fixes.
