A software update was released to selected SRS environments.
Please note, some of the features outlines in these notes depend on configuration options. If you identify a feature from these notes that interests you, but is not currently available in your configuration, please contact Infoxchange
The release includes the following new features:
Telstra Pre Paid Mobile Top Up
Telstra Top-up (short for the Telstra Pre-Paid Mobile Recharge Program) is designed to assist
people on a low income or facing financial hardship to maintain telecommunications access.
Telstra provides a free $30 recharge to those who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness or
impacted by family violence and who depend on a Telstra pre-paid mobile phone for their
communication needs.
Telstra has partnered with Infoxchange to digitise this program. Telstra are making the program
available to all Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS). The program is being integrated into
SRS, SHIP and NSW CIMS.
From April to July 2019, co-ordinators for SHS workgroups utilising SHIP, CIMS or SRS will
receive an email invitation from Infoxchange to register to have the Telstra Top-up functionality
established.
The functionality will be available via either the eContact or Enquiry form (when configured).
DSS Integration
When a user edits/creates a DSS Case the system will connect to the DSS Portal and check the
start and end date for the outlet/activity and only allow the changes if the dates are valid on the
portal for the corresponding start/end date on the DSS Case. (Assuming the site has the
appropriate login credentials for the DSS portal.)
Easy Employer Integration
Integration with Easy Employer (EE) has been updated so that appointments in EE will not be
visible to the users if the corresponding services in SRS are moved to draft status. Once the
services are scheduled again, they will be made visible to the EE users.
When manual exporting of services to EE is not used, services will automatically be exported to
EE as soon as they are scheduled.
SMS Support
Organisations are currently able to send SMS messages from SRS. However, the organisation
must have an account with Message Media, and the capability must be configured in SRS.
The application previously limited SMS messages to 160 characters. The application can now be
configured to allow longer messages. Note if there is more than 160 characters, the SMS will be
charged by the number of 160 character blocks.
VADC Support
VADC error reporting has been improved to make it easier for users to identify records which
require reparation when the error is a result of mismatch between records.
Other Minor Enhancements
This release also includes a number of other minor enhancements and bug fixes.
