21st December 2018 – SRS Update

A software update was released to selected SRS environments.

Please note, some of the features outlines in these notes depend on configuration options. If you identify a feature from these notes that interests you, but is not currently available in your configuration, please contact Infoxchange

The release includes the following new features;

User Interface Updates
The list which displays the related persons for a note record has been updated so the list can
now be sorted, and in the case of long lists, the list will be paginated. By default the list will sort
the related persons alphabetically.

The list which displays associated persons in an ‘Association’ record has been updated to allow
the list to be sorted alphabetically.

Enquiries
For organisations using the enquiries module: If an enquiry has been linked to a client record, the
user can now Ctrl+Click on the person’s name to open the client record in a new tab.

NDIS
A new claims module has been implemented. (Reports > Claims). This module will replace the
existing report currently used for generating the NDIS claim. Infoxchange will work with
organisations to migrate to the new module over the coming months. The new claims module will
provide a more robust mechanism for creating and managing claims.

Improve ability to manage continuous services that are billed weekly but are delivered daily.
Previously organisations needed to record these as daily services. Functionality has been
updated to allow these services to be recorded as billed weekly, but during the claims process the
claim amount will be automatically adjusted if only part week service was provided. Note that this
functionality is only available if the claim is being made via the new claims module.

If the unit of measure for a service agreement item is ‘Week’, the frequency is automatically set to
‘Every week’.

Functionality has been added to automatically make the quoted amount the same as the
benchmark price when a service agreement item is created. (This is an optional feature which
will be enabled by Infoxchange on request.)

The PDF print view for notes has been updated so that it now includes details of the NDIS service
recorded in the note.

VADC Support
Various updates were made to support the Victorian Alcohol and Drug Collection (VADC)
collection. This includes improved validation and fixes to the extract function. Fixes address:

  • AoD68 – Invalid outcome since client registered is not person of concern.
  • AoD41 – Assessment last completed date cannot be later than the event start date.
  • C37 – The dependant year of birth cannot be a future date.
  • Contacts are cumulative within VADC file submissions.

DSS Support
SRS has been updated to accept the new format for the outlet activity xml file. As from 1 July
2019, organisations using the SRS DSS configuration will need to supply their outlet activity xml
file in the new format.

The end date is a new field in the DSS Data Collection. The extract has been modified so that
the end date is only included in the extract if it is null or less than or equal to the current date.
Outcome records are now explicitly connected to both the DSS Case and the DSS Session if the
DSS Session Type is ‘DSS Session Record’. After the user selects the DSS Case, they will be
asked to select the relevant DSS Session that the outcome record relates to.

Other Minor Enhancements and Bug Fixes
This release also includes a number of other minor enhancements and bug fixes.
