20th December 2017 – SRS/CIMS/SHIP Update

A software update was released to SHIP, CIMS and the remaining SRS environments.

Some of the features outlined in these notes depend on configuration options.  If you identify a feature from these notes that interests you, but is not currently available in your configuration, please contact Infoxchange.

The release includes the following new features

User Interface Changes

Alerts on Related Persons

The relationships section in the client record will now display an alert icon if there is an alert associated with a related person.  If there is safety alert the icon colour will be red, otherwise, the icon colour will be blue.  When the user hovers over the icon the alert types will be displayed.

Group Management

It is possible to add document attachments to group definitions.  For example, these might be group resources or standard forms relevant to the group activity.  These documents are NOT used for merge templates.

NDIS Service Agreement

It is now possible to nominate a preferred worker in a NDIS Service Agreement Support Item. In future releases, this, together with preferred times, will assist scheduling of worker activities.

Property Searching in Property / Lessor widget

The ability to search properties using an auto-suggest (type ahead) control has been added to the property field in the Property / Lessor widget.  If a property is selected before a lessor, a filtered list of the lessor related to the property appears in a drop-down.

Groups

The feature to export phone lists based on group membership has been updated to include emergency contacts and an additional column to display the existence of safety issues for a contact.

Document Attachments

Unless otherwise negotiated the maximum size of document attachments has been increased to 5MB.  Larger document attachments can be arranged however additional storage costs will be incurred.

Security

Audit logs have been extended to include more information about failed login attempts.  These audit logs are only available on request.

Reporting

Complex reports can create unacceptable load on the application when executed over a long period. This can impact the experience of other users.  Functionality has been added to allow a restriction to be placed on the duration over which a report can be run.  For example a report may be restricted so it cannot be run over a period of more than 12 months.  Only reports which have been identified as processor or memory intensive will be limited in this way.

The reporting framework has been updated to enable the configuration of List reports which concatenate data across multiple SRS instances.  This feature may be useful for those organisations that are using different SRS instances for different programs.

Maintenance Mode

A new maintenance mode has been added to SRS to block users from logging into the application during maintenance outages or significant configuration updates.

DSS Extract

The DSS Extract validation report has been updated to include the client ID to assist identification of records which require fixing.

The DSS Extract and Validation has been updated to support the new DSS ‘Topic’ field.

Other Minor Enhancements and Bug Fixes

This release also includes a number of other performance improvements, minor enhancements and bug fixes.
