Security
Record Permissions
Organisations with enterprise record permissions enabled will be able to set granular record access permissions on eContact and Address records (similar to profiles and note records). This will enable the workgroup that creates the record to define which other workgroups can view or edit the record.
User Interface Changes
Notes
Previously, it was not possible to ‘copy’ a note once it has been saved as final. The user is now able to clone a note which has been saved as final. (Available by configuration)
Profiles
It is now possible to save profiles as final. Once saved as final it is not possible to make further changes to the profile.
Alerts
Some alerts and messages have been updated so that they render to the user in a more consistent way.
DSS Enhancements
For DSS services, the notes will only display the DSS field if the client has an open DSS case when the attached program activity is current as at the note date.
SHS Enhancements
Updated SHS objects to reflect changes made to the Specialist Homelessness Services Collection applicable from 1 July 2017. These included:
- Updated the SHS Support Period to include a new field recording whether or not the client is or has been a member of the Australian Defence Force.
- Note: For all collection periods from July 2017 the ADF indicator is a required field. and this will be enforced when the user extracts the SHS submission. It is advisable to go to all support periods which are ongoing as at 1 July and complete this new item to avoid extract validation errors. Click ‘Save’ on the SHS Support Period form before commencing your Status Update to check if the ADF indicator has been completed.
- Health tab in SHS Support Period renamed ‘Situation tab’ as a better description of the information with the inclusion of the ADF indicator alongside disability and mental health Indicators.
- Changes to disability question. The information box for the disability questions has been removed. Instead of the information box, additional reminders have been put in place to assist you to complete the disability question accurately. This change will improve data quality from the disability question.
- Sources of income listed in the SHS collection will be updated to reflect income types currently paid by the Department of veteran affairs (DVA). From 1 July 2017, the new response ‘DVA pension or payment’ will replace the existing DVA payment options.
- Reason for seeking assistance: the response ‘Housing crisis’ will be updated to read ‘Housing crisis (e.g. eviction)’. This will ensure the correct interpretation of this response.
- Services and assistance: the service ‘Assertive outreach’ has been updated to ‘Assertive outreach for rough sleepers’ to indicate that this service only applies to outreach services for rough sleepers, not all outreach services.
- Minor changes to edit rules and validation messages.
- Updated reports, lists and PDF extracts to reflect changes made to SHS forms.
