A software update was released to some SHIP, CIMS and SRS environments last night:
All other SHIP/CIMS and SRS environments will receive this update overnight on Monday 17th April.
The release includes the following new features
Please note: Many of the features outlined in these notes depend on configuration options. If you identify a feature from these notes that interests you, but is not currently available in your configuration, please contact Infoxchange.
Security
Implementation of Multi Factor Authentication
- Enterprise and corporate implementations of SRS can be set to require two factor authentication when a user logs on to SRS. To access SRS, a user will be required to use their username and password, together with a code which will be sent to them via SMS or email.
Improved form security
- A range of mechanisms have been added to improve form security within SRS to address emerging risks faced by internet applications. These SRS enhancements are part of Infoxchange’s ongoing strategy to proactively address application security, which is also supported by code reviews, regular security audits and penetration testing processes.
Restricted access audit log
- The audit log user interface has been extended to view changes to restricted access settings. This is only relevant for those organisations which have implemented Restricted Access (restricting specified workers from viewing individual clients and related persons).
User Interface Changes
SRS Client Details – Month of Arrival
- Month of arrival has now been added as a core component of the client details data model. If used it will be displayed on the client details form alongside Year of Arrival. This field will only be enabled at the request of customers, or where the service is required to report Month of Arrival as part of national or state data collection (e.g. the DSS Data Exchange).
My Actions and Team Actions
- It will be possible for a user to quickly close multiple actions at once in the My Actions and Team Actions tab in the home page. Using this feature, the user will check those items they wish to close, confirm the close date, and action all items together.
Searching in Grids
- Filter searches in a number of grids have been updated so that the search will return a result if there is a matching text in any part of the field. For example searching for ‘smith’ will return, ‘John Smith’ as well as ‘Smith Family’.
- The search filter has also been updated to allow searching numeric fields by range – which will require specifying a minimum and a maximum value.
Reporting
- The report selector interface has been updated to allow the user to explicitly choose whether or not to include contact notes of type ‘File Note’ in selected reports and lists. Previously File Note records were excluded in most reports, but included in some selected tables. This feature will enable the user to choose whether or not File Notes should be included in a report or list that is reporting Contact Note data.
NDIS Enhancements
- There is now improved ability to edit NDIS price lists according to the requirements of individual agencies. This includes the ability to only display items that an agency can deliver.
DSS Enhancements
- The DSS extract process has been updated to include multiple clusters and workgroups.
Other Minor Enhancements and Bug Fixes
- This release also includes a number of other minor enhancements and bug fixes.
