Release v5.95 contains:
Features
- Domestic and Family Violence relationships — The new Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) Relationships feature enables organisations to record DFV roles as structured information within client relationship records, replacing the need to capture this information in free-text relationship comment fields. This feature is switched off by default; no behaviour changes will be experienced while it is switched off. Please contact support if you would like it enabled for your service. The feature can be enabled at a workgroup level and includes configurable wording to meet organisational requirements. When switched on, the behaviour is as follows: when creating or updating a relationship, staff can indicate that a client has reported a DFV relationship and select whether they are a Perpetrator or Victim-Survivor; the user is able to leave the DFV relationship blank in cases where DFV information is not required. When either DFV role is selected, the related person will receive the inverse corresponding role automatically — for example, Jane Doe reports as a Victim-Survivor in her relationship with John Doe; John is marked as the Perpetrator in that relationship. The relationship table on Person Details has been updated to display a new DFV column, providing greater visibility of DFV information immediately on the Person Details page, supporting risk assessment, safety planning, and more consistent data capture. The feature has been designed to preserve existing relationship types and SHS Support Period reporting, ensuring no impact on current reporting processes while improving data quality and reducing manual administration.
-
Document interface updates – a new, standardised document interface is now used everywhere you can upload files in SRS, including Notes, Referrals, Groups, and Person view. The document grid includes dedicated download icon buttons, making it easy to download files directly from the list, and you’ll be asked to confirm via a security prompt before a download proceeds. Multi-document upload and drag-and-drop upload, already available in some other areas of SRS, is now also available on Person Documents.
- Multiple access tokens for API users — API users can now hold more than one access token. A replacement token can be issued and handed over to the customer before the existing one expires, so an integration no longer has to be taken offline during a token changeover.
- Referral IDs in notification emails — Referral notification emails now quote the referral ID that is meaningful to the person receiving the email, rather than always quoting the sending organisation’s ID. Receiving workgroups can now match the email straight to the referral in their own system.
System maintenance
- Added validation and break for multi-tab user actions in SRS, so when cross tab workgroup has changed, old tabs will no longer be able to make further changes to protect data corruption. This affected shared documents, day notes, reception messages, emergency contact ownership, SHS turnaways, SHS support period members, service directory favourites, and deletion of SHS collection periods.
- Resolved a large number of application warnings and notices across notes, dashboards, client services, record restrictions, fee for service and shared form components to improve overall stability.
- Ongoing maintenance to support the application framework and apply standard security patches, including moving stored system credentials into centrally managed secret storage and updating the underlying application platform so it continues to receive security updates.
- Improved traceability of system-to-system activity, with calls received from other SRS instances now recorded in the system audit log.
Bug Fixes & Improvements:
Accounts
Fixed Tier 2 user licence counts not including the configured overflow allowance.
AIHW / SHS
Fixed an issue where two SHS extracts started at the same time for the same workgroup and collection period could cause one of them to abort.
Bug fix
Fixed the Status filter on the client Services list so services can again be filtered by status.
Fixed an issue where a dashboard radar chart could fail to display when its data was unavailable.
Fixed the unit of measure not showing when adding a service to a schedule.
Custom Reports
Fixed an error when setting up a custom report that selects by group or activity.
Documents
Fixed an issue where filtering the Documents tab by Type returned an ‘Invalid Type selected’ error instead of filtering the documents.
MARAM
Fixed MARAM tools missing from the client export and from the referral client file.
Notes
Fixed related people appearing more than once in a note when they had a past and a current relationship.
Profile
Fixed linked profile fields in print view so they show the selected record instead of the profile type name.
Reports
Fixed an issue where the DSS Contact Notes and Outcome Information and DSS Client and Case Information reports returned the same results regardless of the ‘Include in report’ criteria selected.
User management
Fixed an issue where an API user selection on the Preferences page was hidden in other workgroups and could be lost when saving.
Workers who have left the organisation are no longer offered in the Worker dropdown when creating or editing an enquiry. Historic enquiries and grid filters are unchanged.
