03th June – SRS/SHIP and CIMS Update

A software update was released to selected SRS environments

Please note, some of the features outlines in these notes depend on configuration options. If you identify a feature from these notes that interests you, but is not currently available in your configuration, please contact Infoxchange

The release includes the following new features:

Merge Clients

Merging of clients will now be prevented if either the primary or secondary client has profiles of a type that has been designated as non-merge-able. Profiles will be marked as non-merge-able for data collections such as VADC where the funding body retains records of SRS clientids but the collection does not permit merged clients.

Relationships

When creating or editing a relationship between two people where one or both have their sex set to other (i.e. not male or female), additional relationship type options are now available to select from.

Notes

In some clusters with a large number of notes for individual clients where restrictions exist on individual notes, there could be a lag in displaying the summary list of notes. During this lag, the worker may click on other buttons and the result can be a display that has a mismatch of notes with the client name shown on the banner. Some additional checks have been added to ensure integrity of the display.

Profiles

When using breadcrumbs to navigate to nested profiles read only fields will now be displayed correctly.

When a worker is logged out due to inactivity but the worker has unsaved data on a profile, the worker will now be able to follow steps to re-enter their password without losing data entered.

Referrals

The attachment section will now be open by default with a message visible “Referral should be saved as draft before attaching any documents”.

When using the Chrome browser, the PDF version of the Referral would sometimes give a “Failed – Network error”. This has now been fixed.

Data Collections – DSS

DSS Sessions – If the organisation is using the Partnership approach, the internal and external referrals are now shown on the edit view for the case note. Previously the referrals only showed when the case note was locked.

Data Collections – SHS

SHS Support Period – Question for Episode of homelessness modified for clarity. Messages updated for presenting income to refer to JobSeeker payment.

SHS Statistical Profile Report – Wording in table 46, part 7 currently reads ‘Total number of clients accommodated’ but has been more appropriately labelled ‘Total number of support periods with accommodation’.

User Management

When a user logs in but they haven’t answered both a security question and email address, they will be asked to update their details. Previously if the user only updated the email address SRS would not let them navigate away from the Admin page.

Organisations using the new User Management module may have review dates enabled. If review dates are being used, the worker is now given a warning that they have entered the “grace” period before their account is locked.

Other Minor Enhancements and Bug Fixes

This release also includes a number of other minor enhancements and bug fixes.
