17th August 2017 – SRS/CIMS/SHIP Update

A software update was released to SHIP/CIMS and SRS environments.

The release includes the following new features

Some of the features outlined in these notes depend on configuration options.  If you identify a feature from these notes that interests you, but is not currently available in your configuration, please contact Infoxchange.

Security

Password

To improve security, autocompletion of fields on the password change form has been removed.

User Preferences

The user must now supply his or her password to make a change to the response to the security question.

User Interface Changes

Person Details Form

The framework supporting this form has been extended to allow the addition of multiple custom fields, including multiselect structured fields.

Linking Profiles to Case Profiles

The profile object has been extended to allow configured profile objects to be explicitly linked to a client’s case profile.  The purpose of this is to further strengthen the case management functionality within the system, allowing most record types created for a client to be explicitly linked to the client or family case.  Support for this feature has been extended in this release to include display of the linked record in the print view.

Saving Profiles as Final

Profiles can now be configured so that it is possible to save the profile as final, preventing future changes to the profile.  Lockable profiles can be configured to allow a Coordinator to unlock a profile which has previously been saved as final.

Navigating between Profile Steps

Some larger profiles utilise a ‘Steps’ feature.  This feature breaks the profile into a series of steps. The previous behaviour when navigating between steps was to automatically save the current step when changing to a different step (if changes were made), the user may have been unaware that this was happening as there was no user notification.

This has been changed to now present the user with a notification if the step has changed and it gives them a choice to apply and save the changes or discard them before navigating to the next step.

DSS Collection

User can now overwrite the DSS Client ID if necessary.

Functionality is now available to enable an organisation to view the DSS outlets and programme activities that are configured for that agency in SRS.

NDIS and Fee for Service

As part of a program of work currently being undertaken the NDIS Support Agreement has been updated to allow the same Support Agreement object to be utilised for other fee for service funding arrangements.

Changes to the Support Agreement being implemented this month include the ability to record preferred times for delivery of services.

This work will also support the implementation of Rostering functionality which will be available in future releases.

Other Minor Enhancements and Bug Fixes

This release also includes a number of other performance improvements, minor enhancements and bug fixes.
