7th February 2017 – SHIP/CIMS/SRS Update

A software update was released to SHIP/CIMS and SRS environments.

The release includes the following new features:

SRS Help

A Major update to the SRS Help framework has been implemented, including:

  • Updates to help pages to include new content and screenshots.
  • Most  updates are now only accessible from within the application.
  • Allows the creation of customised help pages (Please contact Infoxchange if your organisation is interested in this feature).

Referrals

  • Creation of a new client from a received electronic referral has been extended to included customised demographic fields if matching customised fields exist in the referral source and recipients configuration.

Reports

  • Custom Reports have been updated to include Accommodation, Incidents, Track and Progress records.
  • Custom reports now also include access to Association* data (Access to custom reports may depend on your organisations configuration).
  • Previously many reports and lists based on the Notes (Contact) record included or excluded File Notes.  A feature has been implemented to a number of existing reports to allow the user to choose whether to include or exclude File Notes on the report or list.  This feature requires activation (Please contact Infoxchange if you are interested in this feature)

This feature applies to both:

  • The selection of persons for inclusion in the report [eg. Include in Report: Persons with a recorded contact (Note) in the report Period]
  • Whether or not File Note records are included in the calculation of aggregate values in summary tables.
    • Note: This feature does not currently apply to SHS Reports/Lists.

*An Association in SRS is a record similar to a profile, often used for Case Summaries, Family Profiles etc. However where a profile is linked to a single client record, an association can be linked to 1 or more.  The existence of associations will depend on your specific configuration.

DSS Enhancements

A number of enhancements to support the DSS Data Exchange requirements, including:

  • Improved data validation.
  • Inclusion of additional DSS information on PDF views.
  • A number of bug fixes specific to the DSS configuration.

NDIS Enhancements

  • The item dropdown in the Service Agreement form is filtered by items that an organisation is registered to provide.
  • A self-managed checkbox has been added to the Service Agreement form to identify clients who manage their own funds.  For these clients these client records will not be included in the bulk billing extract.
  • The field previously titled ‘Cluster’ in the NDIS service agreement form has been renamed to ‘Support Category’ to align with the new schedule definition.

Features which can be implemented by configuration

(All features listed below require activation, please contact Infoxchange if your organisation is interested in any of these features)

  • This feature allows the user to unlink an electronic referral that has been mistakenly linked to the wrong client.  If the Referral has already been accepted, it must be relinked to another client.
  • With this feature enabled it is possible to prevent specific nominated users from accessing a person record.  This feature prevents the nominated user from viewing any part of the person record.  The user restriction also cascades to all related persons.
    • Note: This feature will require disabling some existing functions, including some Lists.

Other Minor Enhancements and Bug Fixes

  • This release also includes a number of other minor enhancements and bug fixes.
